Facilitated rooms from 8:30 - 11:30, Gymnasium open until 1 AM

Through the gossip mill we have discovered that Dr. Shame has been deep undercover as the superintendent. At prom in Dr. Shame’s world, there’s always room for Jesus on the dance floor, the punch bowl is unspiked, and no one is losing their virginity in the back of a limo. 

Obviously this cannot stand, my brethren, sistren, bothren, othren and neithren of the senior class. 

So we are taking back prom!

Instead of using our two fingers to measure our spaghetti straps - there’s other things we can think of to do with those fingers.

We need you to let your freak flags fly to defeat Dr. Shame with the power of pleasure, revelry and shenanigans. 

We stole the keys from the janitor and will have multiple rooms open, from detention hall where all the rebels are to the band room where we know what you did at band camp! Each room will have a facilitated experiences by our perviest student council members.

And the gym will be open all night for music, sex and debauchery.

• What does the word “geek” or “freak” mean to you, what did it mean to you then? 

• Is it a character from the TV show?

• Is it your classic high school trope?

• Are you going full 80’s prom dress? 

• Or perhaps it’s in F-R-E-K kinda, freak…

We like to push the boundaries of social and cultural norms, with that it’s important to consider how and where certain characters may be harmful to others. We love you and all of your kinks and there are a few things we do not welcome at this party:

• Cultural appropriation or stereotypes

• Costumes or storylines involving non-consensual power dynamics

• Ex. School security/police character arcs

• Storylines that include r*pe, CNC 

• Feces or blood (this includes prop/costume)

Our policy is NOTAFLOF GAYAABAGS, which (besides being kinda fun to say!) stands for No One Turned Away For Lack of Funds Give As You Are Able But Always Give Something. And we fucking mean "something". 

Maybe that might be a buck. Or maybe it's some sort of volunteer labor. But there are many kinds of labor ~ giving emotional labor to the party is super duper valuable and helpful! So is giving a joke, or some sort of erotic spectacle. Or a wee bit of magick or a powerful word to describe a concept the overculture has no word for. There may be voyeurs here, but there are no spectators. There may be Dominants here, but there are no bosses. We have no idea what your "something" might be, but you might! Or you might discover it in the moment. 

We are all making this party happen together; that's what makes immersive theater different from stage theater! So, please, come if you want to come (or just edge, if that's where you get your juice!) and don't worry if your something has a number attached or is amorphous or whatever. We want you to party with us, and whatever something you give will be awesome!
