Host an Experience

Are you an intimacy or sex-themed educator, performer, or facilitator?

Get paid to create experiences for a curated, sex-positive audience!

Experience creators are the heart of our events, leading guided sensuality explorations, erotic self-pleasuring sessions, and experiential workshops, and other immersive erotic experiences.

We even wrote a How-to-Host guide.

HERE IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  1. Collaborators and Partners in Organizing

  2. Facilitators for both/either IRL and Virtual Experiences

  3. Wide range of experiences ranging from PG - X. (we welcome people to host multiple if they are called)

Do you have an idea but aren’t sure about logistics? We want to hear from you! Our team is here to help you take your concept into reality.

loveSKILLS

Our collective approach to loveSKILLS is intended to reinforce what we believe is equitable. Meaning, we are all working together to bring this experience to life with hosts and facilitators deeply integrated in the concept, development, and marketing. This also means that dollars made through ticket sales, are dollars split across the board regardless of your social media following and/or email list. All of the voices that take the stage here are considered equally valuable.

We believe this is what enables us to recruit some of the best facilitators, educators, and hosts in the industry AND allow each of us to reach a much larger audience with our collective message.

How to Host a forLove Experience

1. Craft an experience (not a show)

  • Experience and participation

    • How will attendees engage in your room, with themselves, with you, and with each other?

    • What should they expect when they arrive?

    • How will they know how to make the most out of it?

  • Nudity and self-touch

    • What norms will you create to facilitate safe, sexy exploration for others?

  • Consent and trauma-awareness

    • Will your activity be potentially triggering for trauma-survivors or require an explicit content warning? Just let us know.

    • How will you ensure that no one feels PRESSURED to do anything they’re not ready for?

  • Respect and inclusion

    • How will your activity involve everyone in the space?

    • Consider race, age, ability, gender, sexuality, body type, and experience

    • Consider outgoing vs shy people, and couples vs singles

VIRTUAL EVENTS:

2. Think through the tech

  • Audio

    • What is the soundscape of your experience? What will participants hear when they come in?

    • Are you sure participants will be able to hear you?

    • We recommend unmuted rooms source their sound from Twitch or Mixlr. We make this easy for participants.

  • Chat

    • How will participants engage with the group, with each other directly, and with you through typing?

  • “Pinning” and spotlighting”

    • Where do you want participants to be focusing: on you, on each other, or on themselves? How will you facilitate that?

  • Waiting Rooms and locked rooms

    • Can people come in halfway through?

    • Will people have to stay the whole time?

3. Create a comfortable set-up

  • A desktop or laptop (not a tablet or a mobile)

  • A strong and reliable internet connection

  • Decent lighting and a flattering camera angle (Check out tips, tricks and gear in our set-up guide!)

4. Get a co-host

In addition to the safety volunteers we provide, we recommend a trusted friend to:

  • Model the type of participation you’re looking for

  • Mute loud participants, or ask people with background noise to silence themselves

  • Put people into breakout rooms, as needed

  • Fill in for you if your connection goes out or your computer crashes

5. Sell it!

  • Pick an image and a few sentences of marketing language to use on the event website so people know what to expect!

  • Feel free to promote yourself and your links!

6. Practice!

  • Create a run of show

  • Practice it at least once so you can troubleshoot anything that comes up.
